question about remedies

Post by Carol Orr »

Regarding the concept that the remedy must have all the key components of the
person's symptoms...not all the symptoms of the remedy...would it be
commonplace or rare that a person who needs lyc might not like sweets, or a
calc carb might not have any perspiration, or a sulphur might not itch with
skin symptoms?

That does occur Carol, not so commonly, but it does. Besides client experience to this, my son is a very good example in that time and time again when he has an acute, that does NOT look like Belladonna, except for chapped/red lips, that it is the only remedy that works. No high fever, flushed face, red/sore throat, raging pulse, dilated eyes...none of the classical symptoms. But other remedies he looks more like do not work, only Bell. And yes I did all those close to it :) Similar has occurred in both acutes and constitutionals with others.
