Cold Sore - what does it mean?

Post by Lora »

Hi All,

I have a personal health situation that I would love for any of you to
help me shed some light on. I know there are so many ways at looking
at a situation so please share any thoughts. I am not trying to treat
or self diagnosis as I see a homeopath for myself but often these
dialogs lead to learning for everyone.

During high school I dated a boy who would get boils frequently. Low
and behold I developed many boils after dating him. On my spine,
stomach, on my lip, etc. They were excruciatingly painful and would
fester often and turn into a staff infection. They would eventually
burst with pressure and heat and luckily I had a very patient mom who
is a nurse who would spend evenings with hot packs on the area to help
express the boils. I wish I would have had homeopathy back then, oh
well. I was hospitalized in high school (almost 30 years ago) for a
staff infection on my upper lip. Throughout my adulthood I had cold
sores, most prominent when my 15 year old daughter was a baby. They
would get large and sting and burn and eventually dry up but it took a
few weeks for it to fully heal. I have not had a cold sore for over
10+ years and I got a little spot on my lip yesterday. It didn't burn
or sting so I thought maybe it was a little pimple or something. By
the end of the day it filled up to a small pustule on my lip and also
a additional little one above my lip on the skin above. Today I was
looking in the mirror and noticed the clear fluid expressed itself and
both appear to be drying up. I didn't take anything homeopathically as
I was busy all day outside of work and my kits are at my office. It
seems like it is something that will clear up on it's own and a very
minor concern. As far as my vitality, I feel I am much much healthier
than I have ever been.

What does this say? Is this direction of cure and more healing needs
to take place? Was there a possible stessor that expressed my
susceptibility and the body responded nicely? Just very curious as I
am well aware of our shadow side and places that we can't see our own
issues.
Be Well,
Lora

HI Lori

I would always first look if there was any stressor just prior to thsi occurence? Something unsaid or expressed too much...investigate if this is a possibility? Examine food recently eaten for any possible link?

Best wishes

Domenic
