Re: liver cancer
Dear colleages
I would appreciate your help with suggestions for this case.
Patient has been diagnosed with liver cancer 4 wks ago. Site of primary is unknown.
Has internalised much distress over the years. Lived with suppression of her feelings of hurt and humiliation. Has not been in circumstances where she could voice her feelings and had not cried.
She is weak, can only sit up for a little while and then must lie down. In bed most of the time. Face very pale. Had great abdominal pain from liver through to back with heaviness of abdomen. Cannot eat solids. Is eating soup and juices, green powders i.e. barley and have her on whey protein.
Patient says she is strong and will fight it but has been angry inside. Have used Lyc and she has now externalised some anger and now using Chel instead and she has cried out some of her feelings. Couldn't stop.
Meditates a lot and says tears were coming out only from right eye last week and now both eyes. Tears just sliding down face, not full blown crying as previous.
Have given her Carc 10m and started her on Con.
She is on other support such as coffee enemas which make her feel a little better. Dr. has her on tablets which are controlling the nausea. I will have cad sulph on hand in case it is needed at some time.
Also on n-acetyl cysteine, methionine, choline, condurango, a few drops of hydrastis f.e., sheep's sorrel.
Any other suggestions homeopathically would be appreciated.
thanks
Beverly

Re: liver cancer
Dear Beverly,
if i have a patient with cancer, i look for the best remedie that take the
patient sympomes, and sometimes i give organotropic remedies like
Cholesterinum D4 in daily doses for three months in liver cancers, but if i
find symptoms for an other liver remedie i give it. In cancer problems we
must treat in a special way. The best is to look at J.C.Burnett and his way
to treat cancer. He gives nosodes, konstitutional remedies and organotropic
remedies in his cases. I do it in the same way with a lot af succes.
Sorry my english, i am a german speeking person. And my tzime is limited, so
i have no time to spend on looking for english faults.
kindly
Trudy

Re: liver cancer
Thanks very much Dave,
I have just speed read Eli Jones, have found I have Farokh master on the
shelf [didn't remember having it] and will try and get access to Grimmer. If
anyone has any gems from Grimmer they feel they can send in the meantime it
would be appreciated as every day counts with this patient now.

Re: liver cancer
Beverly,
Dr. Ahmed Currim is the editor and compiler of Grimmer's book, and he
used to be on this list, I don't know if he still is.
However, you would do well to write him, and ask him any and all Grimmer
questions.
ancurrim@earthlink.net
If you don't own Grimmer's book, he can sell you one of course; it is a
book WELL WORTH owning!

Re: liver cancer
Hi Beverly,
If you'd like to present your rubric selection or other case description, I
can try to dig anything useful out of Grimmer, and perhaps someone with
cancer experience will offer some insights / suggestions.
