There are a number of remedies being used in Europe now. You’ve mentioned Arsenicum, always a good one. Serious pathologies have benefited from Crotalus horridus and Terebinthina. If there is intense ‘coldness’, think of Bismuth and Camphora.

Hi Shannon,
Good term, normalizing.
These nosodes don't come up in normal repping. You have to be looking for them (to eliminate all non-nosodes). Under what situations would you do this? As an intercurrent I suppose. When the main remedy quit moving and you have tried changing potency. When else?
Best,
Ellen

I also had a tickling sensation in my throat about a week ago and now it has developed to productive coughs, with thick mucous thats slightly salty.yellowish white in colour.worsened by cold any form of cold.Better by covering and warmth. The outbursts of cough sometimes leave me with a raw feeling in my chest.I feel as if sputum was stuck in the chest.
Any presciption.I took Drosera, initially when I had the tickling. It's a cold weather here.

Hi Jean,

What E. coli infection are you asking about? In other words, what are the characteristic symptoms of the disease state that you are seeing?

Regarding the genus epidemicus, you assemble the characteristic symptoms of several individuals in the epidemic. Taking all those characteristic symptoms together, you choose the homeopathic medicine that best matches this total state. The bacteria itself doesn't enter into it unless the proving symptoms of E. coli happen to match the group of characteristic symptoms you put together.

Peace,
Gregory

Agree with that. It certainly is what one seeks to do. But several times in E.Coli urinary tract infection it would get better on indicated remedy usually Cantharis only to recur and I have thought the nosode of E coli was helpful in eradicating it. I have never actually found the provings of E coli. Best Wishes,, Jean
