Need help finding a remedy for my cat

I am new to homeopathy and have learned enough to provide acute care for my family, so far with great success. I joined this group to observe and learn more on a day to day basis. I have learned a great deal but cannot think of a way to help my cat, because I don't know how to word correctly her symptom in order to look it up. She is about 18 years old and until the past few years has been in fairly good health. A few months ago she started vomiting after eating at least twice a day. She also started pooping outside the little box. I have given her Ars and she has responded well, she no longer vomits at every meal. Every once in a while she now poops in the little box, but only about 5% of the time. She had also stopped going outside to just enjoy the day, and is now going outside like she did when she was younger. Does anyone have any suggestions for me as to how I can look this pooping issue up? I am not sure if it is because she has lost her sense of smell because she is older (I am only guessing at this because many older people have told me that as you get older you often can't smell as well.) I have bought two books on homeopathy for animals and of course I can't find anything about this issue in either one of them. Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.
