Hi Everyone,
I joined the site taking it a site for CLASSICAL HOMOEOPATHY, but except for the first few years, there has been much bullshit here and I do not feel any charm to be a part of such filth, persons curing diabetes with their prophetic rather LUNATIC prescriptions. I do not know if there is any moderator/owner here, who cares a fig for the system. I want to bid goodbye to all. please anyone guide me how to un-subscribe or I should simply put the digest in Spam?
Zaidee.

Hi Zaidee,
I think we all need to learn to speak with more grace when we criticize the hard work of others. A volunteer manages Minutus. He is not a thought policeman and his time is limited. I think he would accept your appology.
In a free class, other volunteers are presenting the homeopathic research of Dr. Shahrdar, the owner of Minutus. You can see what we are doing in this open site. http://publicshahrdarcases.wikispaces.com/ To join the class, you need to go to http://shahrdarcases.wikispaces.com/
I am the manager of that class and I would not tolerate the throughtless meanness of your message for two seconds. Otherwise, you are invited to join. But, you would not do well if you are unwilling to think. The work is purely Hahnemannian, but it does require thought.
Blessings,
Ellen Madono

Re: minutus=mixopathy
I agree, Ellen, that there is no need for rudeness - none at all even if it is provoked which
in this case it wasn't.
I have a problem of my own: my posts dont get published. If I have been debared from posting
I should be told and removed from the list. I have in the past written posts that have generated
a fair bit of controvercy - but that is what debate is all about. I have received reactions of a
confrontational thread to which I have not replied. Is that a reason to debar me? Am I bound to
reply to all posts or face exclusion?
That is what appears the moderator has done.

Re: minutus=mixopathy
Dear Colleagues
As Ellen quite correctly has stated, I am a volunteer moderator, I am not a thought police [although I could easily be
] and my instructions are fairly simple.
We have some 2000 members who from time to time send posts.
All posts from new emails are moderated.
When new member joins Minutus, based on the way they write and state things, I make a decision either to free them from moderation so that they can send posts freely or to keep them on moderation. If members become abusive, or send in nonesense, then they go on to moderation and I check everything they post. On some occasions some email addresses are barred, usually because they are trying to sell us viagra or the posts has nothing to do with homeopathy!
Some unmoderated members from time to time will send posts about how they can cure everything, or Like Dr Bashir send a general protocol for self curing diabetes - which triggered the response below from Zaidee. Because they are unmoderated, I cannot obviously stop such posts. However, they key point about the standing of Minutus is how its members response to such emails. Dr Bashir's post immediately drew two responses - a frustrated one from Sheri and a probing one from myself.
He has responded to neither which shows that perhaps he is so high that it is too much trouble to answer simpletons like myself or that he could not find any proper scientific basis for his assertions and let things drop.
The fact that we have stood our corner and defended Hahnemannian Homeopathy is the key point.
I hope that Zaidee of 'gentlecure' will stay and contribute positively to our exchanges and learning process.
Best wishes
Soroush

Re: minutus=mixopathy
I am noting the irony of Zaidee being castigated for this rather mild example of what had been flying so freely here not so long ago...
(And will also note that I am so GLAD that the reins are at last being pulled in, as the nastiness of the past did, IMO, huge harm to our group, and much more so than any respectful discussions of less-than-optimal postings could possibly have done. So thank you Ellen and Soroush for standing up for respectful communication!)
