weird weird symptom
Re: weird weird symptom
A couple of months ago I woke up in the middle of the night and saw a flat
image of a six foot tall lady wearing green and white checkered dress..the
dress was like triangle shape starting at the neck and spreading out as it
went down all the way to the floor. The head was some kind of 19th century
queen image. It looked like something out of Alice in Wonderland. I screamed
really long and loud. Then last night...again..I woke up and saw some image
with lots of activity...like a square postcard about 3 feet across and a
couple of feet high. And I again screamed. The screaming came from the sense
that these images were in my bedroom rather than in a dream. Kind of creepy.
I took lM lycopodium about 3 weeks after the first scream. I have been
patiently not interferring with any of the symptoms that have been coming up
which is hard for me because usually I want a quick fix. I know lyc takes a
long time to act and I'm giving it a couple of months...but these screaming
episodes are so out of the blue and beyond anything i've ever experienced in
my life. If I were to let my imagination loose I would probably come up with
some incipient brain disease. Can someone say something comforting? I'm going
to read the materia medica on Hyo, Bell, Stram and Lach to see what I come up
wtih...

Hello
...not sure what your belief system is but....
Maybe you are actually seeing a person in spirit form and thus no need for a remedy???

Domenic - that is an interesting comment you have made. Can you explain a little more ie. is the presence of a spiritual being bring with it a healing force required for the patients needs?
Thanks bob

Hi Bob
Basically, she might have seen a spirit. Lots of people do. Plus it happened in the middle of the night. Perfect time to see a spirit as one is relaxed and the mind can observe reality or other dimensions of reality without the mental filter or block of the conscious belief system.
It is possible that the entity came to give some guidance on a question she has been pondering for some time or merely to say "hello" , it could be any number of reasons. It could also be she was still in a dream like state and even though her eyes were open she might have been seeing her dream in her mind's eye. No one really knows, especially me as what she saw could be explained by many many things.
Only she will have the direct answer and feelings that came with what she saw. I was only pointing out that maybe she was NOT in need of a remedy but in need of listening to the spirit and trying to find out any beneficial guidance that may or may not be forthcoming.
I was just trying to offer a simple solution to an event.
Best Wishes

Hi Domenic
Your thoughts that the possibilities of this being a beneficial guidance, parallel two metaphysical experiences I have had over the past 30 years or so that have established the foundation and blue print for my belief system. As you suggest, it was not in place of a remedy but possibly as an insight to something much more profound. Interesting.
May the Force be With You

Hello
As I stated only she would know and any interpretations from afar are useless. Any possibilities could explain what happened to her and even as you state hallucination.

Dear Carol and all
to others: Wow, talk about lack of reply. Geesh. Besides jumping on the angel-spirit-ghost-hallucination presumptions bandwagon (so much for the unprejudiced observer), no one actually answered Carol's concerns.
Since there are well over 100 remedies for seeing ghosts or spirits, there could possibly be better advice besides "turn over and go to sleep". It's worth an investigation.
To Carol - some questions please.
Why did you choose Lyc, and why 1M? Is it your constitutional?
Since taking the remedy - has the screaming reduced, stopped or changed in some way? the fear? has the vision returned?
What other sx's are you experiencing?
There was a email from you sometime back about lead paint or something, could that be a factor? Could there be any other physical factor or cause involved that would provoke such a vision? Was there any other emotional disturbance in your recent life?
As a regular reader of this list - I'm going to assume you've certainly the intelligence and have investigated yourself enough to satisfy the nature of this vision? What do you think is happening in the mental sphere?
If you were in Africa (or many other places on this globe), I would have asked about "juju" (negative "witchcraft") and if there were any enemies in you or your family's life.
Did the vision have any meaning for you - someone you knew/know? Besides screaming, what were your prevalent emotions?
If you'd rather communicate with me privately on this matter, feel free to email me rather than the group.
Didi

Re: weird weird symptom
Didi,
Although you are correct that no one'answered' Carol on the list, it is not fair to blame those who had an existential exchange about it. It was not their job to necessarily have the answers. Carol hoped someone would have some information, but please take into account perhaps no one had the time or the answers without actually properly doing her whole case (since there are so many possibilities), and, I'm sure many wrote to her privately, as I did.
Be well,
Liz
