I wonder what specific type of radionics machine(s) this was meant to cover? The term is used to apply to (at least) two different types of practice, which seem different. Was she talking about the "remedy maker" machines such as the ones that use either little cards or "rates", in order to produce a radionics version of a remedy, or was she referring to the "broadcasters", used to somehow send the healing energy to the patient at a distance? Somehow I thought it referred to the latter, and not to the former. ??

Homeopathy is an energy medicine. Homeopathy sees the body as an energy package, essentially.
Many healing protocols in the world are based on energy. People with telepathic or psychic abilities
are work with energy. People do distance healing from numerous protocols. It all seems to be about
learning how to open ourselves up, to open our energetic boundaries up to send out our messages.
It does not seem so strange that people have found ways to work with energy using machines that
produce energy. It is not the way of homeopathy, generally, to do mechanistic energy work, but that
is no reason to dismiss the possibility of it being able to occur.

I am well aware of the FDA issues, and do not rely on them as an authority.
Just wanted to share an article that was in a Homeopathy magazine that pointed out the fact
that we should be sure we are actually getting what we purchase. The article which was advising us to know that there are or were companies selling radionically made remedies without mentioning in their catalogs that they were being made that way.
I want to know how remedies I am buying are made, I want to know if my food is irradiated, I want to know when the label says organic, that it is organic. I don't rely on the FDA to tell me these things, I do my homework, as I said before caveat emptor !

The results for my son were excellent, in the sense that ultimately he was cured of a very debilitating and serious kidney disease. However, I also had the impression that his practitioner took a rather circuitous route, throwing in a lot of treatments that seemed to have marginal effect (perhaps because he felt the need to do something -- and because they made money for him).
As the result of that experience, I decided that when I became a homeopath I would not charge patients for remedies. I consider that part of my overhead in almost all cases, not a source of revenue for myself. If a special type of remedy is required, such as a Fibonacci series, I have the patient order directly from the supplier. Otherwise, I'm the supplier -- at no charge to the patient.

this topic is very interesting as my office is only 5 minutes away from Celletech They do, or at least did have some Boericke and Tafel polychrest remedies & Kent & Allen remedies made according to HPUS

I have used only a few of the remedies made the "radionic" way. It did produce a positive shift for one of my clients but another experience where a polychrest remedy was used for common ailment for a family member and my family insists that the quality of the remedy was poor. It is so hard to determine as many variables come into play.

Sorry to get sidetracked but what I was curious about was how the remedies were being sold. I have a vial from a few years ago and it says this on the bottle:
This homeotherapeutic(as in homeostasis) product was manufactured and standarized using the Magnetic/Mechanical technique, to encode the Energy Profile for the stated substance (encoded and shaken). There are no biologically active components of this stated substance.
