Having written a very strongly worded post on Radar, I feel it is only fair to note that
I spoke with Kim Elia afterwards. He was very accommodating in helping to resolve my
problem--especially taking into consideration my financial demise at the moment.
He did clarify that the system is designed in a manner that the dongel is made for
the given program sent out to each person. The consequence is that one cannot just
simply replace a dongle key. I don't understand the technology so I cannot explain
it other than what I just said and that may explain it correctly.
However, while WHN may not have control over the system, the system is set up in
manner that makes it very difficult to resolve certain kinds of problems. Tech support
can do certain things with certain problems, but Kim encouraged me to call him if
needed. I have to say that we had a very productive conversation which I appreciated.
I still think the whole technology system, not just in homeopathy, is set up to promote built-in
obsolescence. I am old enough to remember mechanically constructed products that could
be repaired ad nauseum. After 20+ yrs you could still get parts for your furnace or your car.
Your lawn mower could still be fixed. Electronic technology has been designed so that
we need to keep buying the same products over again. But this is another rant.
