Hi Jennifer,
You are absolutely right. I am trying to persuade him that mail is a good place to discuss ideas in a light informal way, but he needs a site where old discussion etc can be easily accessed and his ideas can be organized for later use. His ideas are not light or informal. They are well thought out and follow a logical progression. He should not be hidden away on a website, lost in the confusion of any email group or Facebook. I am advocating use of the HWC. I am intensely interested in learning from him, so I will do what I can to help him, but I doubt that I am a good moderator. Hopefully, others will also be interested in learning from him and we can all help to make it easy for him to teach.
Blessings,
Ellen

Is he publishing in any journals, print as well as on-line?
Seems to me that is at least as important!

Hi Shannon,
You can see his papers on Minutus.org. I got my first sense of what he is up to by reading those papers and his cases. There is another one by Suriya on hpathy.com that is very good.
I happened to have lost a case that was very similar to the case Ardavan presented. I realized that if I had done his analysis, I would have had more confidence in my own analysis and I would not have lost that case. What happened is I had the right remedy but because the patient was quite obnoxious and very loud about being dissatisfied with her progress. So, I lost confidence in my choice. If I had done Aradavan's analysis, I would have stuck to my guns and would not have lost the case. Now I have to figure out how to do that analysis.
Best,
Ellen

You're correct. HWC works ok for me. Yahoogroups does have many aspects, such as the Files pages, where one can categorize and compile various topics of information to be accessed by students/subscribers at will, to study. Yes, moderation takes work, but can easily be managed, especially if there are several who are willing to help. What one in one timezone misses, another catches, and can keep board on track, and spam to a minimum. I don't know that it was given a good trial, by the looks of the amount of postings..... but Yes, I'm interested in learning, and if he wants to post on HWC, that will work for me.

thanks Jennifer. The time zone issue is interesting. Gotta think about that one. Yes, I think cooperative support for Ardavan is the way to go. I am talking to him about it now.
Best,
Ellen
