Hi,
I just got in from a seminar in Malaysia given by Ardavan Shahradar. It was fantastic, but the flight back was a red eye flight. So I am still in the planning phase of my decision to open a free clinic for the refugees that are living near my home. I would do it out of my home assuming that people would have the money and energy to come 2 stations away from where they are housed. That may be unrealistic. It is pretty cold outside, so just setting up a booth on the street seems pretty tough just because I get cold very easily. Japanese have in general never heard of homeopathy so hopes for a response may be unrealistic.
I just put out a notice for a free clinic on my Japanese website, but so far no response. No Japanese has been able to find my Japanese website so far so that is not surprising. I don't know what the trick is but I need help from a Japanese. People are finding my English website in relation to radiation etc. so somehow I am missing a link.
I am getting ready to stand out side the area where the refugees are staying to hand out billets. I have it all written up so I have to get it printed.
If you look at Torako Yui's post asking for donations for 2 homeopaths going to the North, she goes down the list of things she can help with. She did not have first hand exposure when she wrote the notice, so she may have a very different list now.
Grief is big. I was thinking of differentiating between the various grief remedies. Hysterical Ign and with drawn Nat mur is not good enough. Grief for loss of loved ones and grief for loss of home and job. Despair is also big.
My guess is if there is anger and resentment, no one would show it to you. That would be shameful by Japanese ways of thinking.
I am looking for quick differential analysis. I guess I would make good use of Morrison and Lillenthal.
I was even thinking of calling up a Christian friend of mine who is studying counseling. We don't all have to be doing homeopathy.
This northern area is poor to begin with. So the people there are really good at stoicism. Withdrawing is a big way to do that.
I would expect symptoms like blood pressure problems, low body temperature, indifference, anxiety, depression. Yui mentions electrocutions. People have been exposed to the elements, but they are much tougher than people in Tokyo. I imagine I will also be talking to people who are talking about their loved ones who will not come to see me.
To tell the truth, if people came to me one after the other, I don't know that I am ready to handle either the work load just the pressure. I was advised to get other help. I could sleep other homeopathic workers at my house. Obviously they would have to be able to handle Japanese. I have never set up an emergency clinic before or done this kind of work. The logistics of organizing it seems overwhelming, never mind the homeopathy which at least I know. I was told to get a white lab coat. That's a bit too much too. I don't want to be mistaken as a doctor or a doctor pretender. But I got a coat and am eyeing it with a kind of dread.
Any suggestions?
Best,
Ellen Madono

Re: How to open a free clinic
I have several times sat with my remedies and placards Homeopathy an Energy Medicine etc etc some brief overview. Perhaps invite people to share their story?/
Once at a 3 day event had nothing for 2 days on the 3rd day was quite busy. It was warm and beautiful in Far N Queensland.
After Bush Fires a few years ago was not allowed inside complex used but sat out under a tree. Saw 2 people. At another centre next day was able to help 2 children .I think one Stramonium another Tarentula [was racing madly around]. It is not easy to gain validity to be present. There was a very disturbed teenager whom I attempted to help but was admonished as she was under age and not able to give permission. It was not easy. Anything but what they call evidence based not accepted. One can only help in a very quiet way.
I would think Opium for fear and powerlessness would be a big one. Aconite also.Stapthysagria [indignation suppressed] Rescue Remedy and other flower remedies, Rochelle mentioned some things recently from Helios.
Wish appropriate healing resonances such as Peter Chapel uses and others could be played over a loud speaker or radio system. Good Luck. Take Care!
