ASA codes (UK homeopaths)

We are really entering a period of medical fascism.

To solutions - take the same information to facebook and / or, if the pressure is only being applied at an association level, set a separate business or company that is separate to you and your practice.

Practitioners have to abide by their association rules and regs if they want to continue membership while most associations have no jurisdiction over businesses that a member homeopath may be involved with or working in

Note that I am not suggesting that you should use a business or company as a cloak - your practice and and business / educational concerns should be truly separate. The business of course does have to abide by legislation covering businessses.
But that is something that happens or is going to happen in many countries.
Many people would be interested to know how to deal with that issue, from subtle to confrontational, so it could be very informative, and maybe to opportunity to look at each other's websites too....

The idea is anything without hard evidence has to come off. It means scientifically proved evidence as well. Basically I think I will have to take my popular First Aid page off.

That's interesting because there are a couple of links in my website to published articles and I am not sure if I will also have to get rid of these. Is there no one else from UK on this list who has a website?

I have been talking about medical fascism for a long time. It has
been with us, particularly in the US for years with enforced vaccination
threats of court removal of children if parents dont want chemo for the
child, etc, etc, etc. I personally was threatened several times when

procedures on us when there was nothing of consequence wrong with the
kids.

The good news is that people are finally 'getting it' and are beginning to
talk about taking action to protect our health freedom of choice. It is one
thing to try and find a way around these draconian rules. But people need
to organize a coherent response in the public, educate people and fight
back in a meaningful way. Otherwise they will pick you off one by one.

On the small and personal level, one company that does cold laser work
has created a private club. So one needs to sign up for membership--no
money involved, just an agreement to receive information and the fact that
no specific info will be given outside the 'club.' Thus, he sends out his
monthly newsletter with details on working with different conditions and
is available for telephone consult on how to handle medical conditions.
This can be done via your websites, too, so people will still have access
via the internet search tools, but will have to become a member to have
access to the details of using homeopathy. Think on this as a little step.

But homeopaths need to organize en masse and fight back on these rulings
or it will all be over before you knew what happened.

look at the studies first. there have been studies on arnica for example.
even the ny times ran an article last year on the efficacy of arnica.
there are studies on the efficacy of homeopathy for several different remedies and
conditions.

You know this , I know this but you can't convince the ASA because the clinical studies are not valid in their eyes!!

well, isn't that the battle homeopaths need to organize around?
their denial has nothing to do with science, as you know, but is strictly
about political and economic empowerment for the drug corps. this is not
a health issue in reality since health care is not their concern. if it was, they
woudl be looking with an open mind.
what do you think about Luc Montagniers pronouncement of the scientific
terrorism used against people who want to report/discuss anyt hing other
than what the medical/chemical industry wants to sell!

Could a site not be set up that details patients experiences so that it isn't a homoepath making claims but rather individuals explaining how homeopathy has helped them and detailing cases, be those cases chronic or first aid? Homeopaths could then put a link to that site rather than them saying what a rememdy does.

I've had a number of emails recently, supposedly from individuals, asking me to list the diseases that naturopathy and/or homeopathy can cure. The wording of the emails makes it appear to be from non-native English speakers. Many years ago I had a teacher that clearly discussed the importance of vocabulary when working with clients. I wish he were still around. I know his instruction saved me several times from 'quack buster' attacks. I do believe there is some sort of organized activity looking for a paper trail to use to discredit both homeopathic and naturopathic practitioners.
