worldwide demonstration against Homeopathy

Hi,
As many of you might already be aware, there is a big worldwide
demonstration against Homeopathy on the 5th and 6th of of Feb.
http://www.1023.org.uk/

However, India isn't represented on the list... yet. It's time to undo
that.

As per the discussion we had in our facebook group we think that unlike
the UK there are no regulations on Homeopathy medicines here in
India...There is a high chance that overdose can actually be dangerous..
as homeopathic medicines use Poisonous chemicals like arsenic etc..

May be India can do something like what the Atlanta Skeptics are doing
by holding a demonstration and presentations on homeopathy and its uses
at 10.23am on 5th Feb .

What can we do in India? Please add your valuable ideas.

This is a UK group that fancies itself a bunch of 'skeptics.' We know them as
egotistical denialists. They appear to be in love with themselves and have
an active delusion that they are science based. Since they refuse to look at
facts-on-the-ground evidence or read any of the science that supports homeopathy,
many of us refer to them as denialists. They cannot wrap their silly minds around
the fact that clinical evidence is where all science begins and that their attachment
to big pharma fraudulent studies makes them either ignorant dupes or active
participants in the fraud.

'They' must be worried after CBC -Marketplace aired recently citing homeopathy as '" one of the country's fastest growing alternative health treatments: homeopathy.'

My father spent the last 5 years drugged to the eyeballs and the last year in a nursing home not being able to walk, in diapers and just talking nonsense....His last steep downward spiral was to due to a 'male castration drug' for his unproven prostrate cancer. He died last week at the age of 85. I gave him multi-vitamins and such under the cover of night without the rest of my family knowing as they would have wanted me to get them okayed by the pharmacist in case they reduced the efficacy of the drugs:-0. It made me feel as if I was giving cocaine, 'Here Dad take this before the nurse passes by.' What a STUPID state of affairs......

Do your really think a person, who has seen results and knows difference Homeopathy, Homeopathic Medicines, Homeopathic system of Treatment with Homeopathic Remedies, will say anything against Homeopathy.

I think we, in the Homeopathy Media Group, resolved that 'Sense about Science' is funded by large Big Pharma companies some time ago, and have been saying so for some time on our blogs, Facebook, Twitter, et al.

We (HMG) are doing various things to try to counter this; but basically, I think this kind of demonstration, negative as it is, rather turns people off. But we could do with more members on the Media group - http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/ARH-Media/

You bet they're a bunch of sick puppies.
I have no clue who MMGM is, but this pseudokeptic mole should be banned from
this group.
I've seen other posts like this sent to various homeopathic organizations pretending to
be some kind of "alert", but are in reality a skeppie boast of some sort.
These people are armchair quarterbacks who have a political/philosophical agenda that
is so far from real science or medicine it's disgusting.
The fact that this person hasn't responded proves they are being ingenuous.
