Bone marrow biopsy

An elderly patient of mine is undergoing a bone marrow biopsy in a couple of weeks. Multiple myeloma is suspected.
My immediate concern is dealing with the discomfort that I suspect she'll feel following the biopsy. Calcarea fluorica comes to mind as a possible palliative for the pain, especially since she has osteoporosis. Any other ideas?

Thank you for the idea, Jean. I'm looking at this point for something to deal with her post-biopsy pain only, as her condition has not yet been diagnosed. Have you used Stront-carb. after bone marrow biopsies?
For another disease that starts in the marrow, I have a case of chronic lymphocytic leukemia that's doing very well on Calc-c. I'm also beginning to think that cases of early-onset osteoporosis are linked to extreme deprivation of emotional nurturance in infancy and may require Calc-c. as well.

Thanks, Rochelle, but we're not at that stage yet. There are other things she could have besides multiple myeloma. Good to know Hekla works for bone marrow cancers as well as osteosarcomas.
