The treatment of Wakefield is so reminiscent of what was done to Arpad Puzai when he raised doubts about genetically-engineered crops. The sudden spate of articles in the press, all uncritically reporting Brian Deer's contentions without any further research, smacks of an orchestrated salvo. So Wakefield supposedly received money from lawyers litigating autism cases -- wonder what pharmaceutical funding is supporting Deer?
