delirium after surgery--now sugar

Post by Tanya Marquette »

Explain further the CR? diet and SIRT gene.
I question whether starving the body, turning on this gene is a good thing. It
sounds to me like the SIRT gene is a survival gene activated under duress.
The diet seems like it can have long term negative effects.
All that sugar is also questionable. It seems that we should be reconditioning
our bodies to not desire so much sugar and on rare occasions when it is a LITTLE
treat, it should be a natural form such as honey or fruit.
