Hi Dr. Ramachandra,

this must be an error in spelling.. I think you may mean:

Joanesia asoca
You will find good information in Bannerjee's MM of Indian Drugs, less in
Boericke.

in Vermeulen there is reference to "menstrual colic" -some symptoms that
could be useful in intestinal colic noted in Bannerjee
