Hi all,
I am trying to rep an unusual symptom for a pt with long standing migrainous headaches, in my opinion this is a bit unusual, but any light that can be shed on this one would be much appreciated.
Her headaches always used to be one sided and settle over the eye, but in recent years they have been either frontal or occipital.
She has about 4-5 headaches a week which can last up to 12 hours
Now the unusual bit is that her frontal headaches are alleviated (to some extent) by cold – she usually wears an ice pack; and her occipital headaches are alleviated by heat.
I can rep these as separate symptoms and combine the results ... but I wondered if anyone has a reference to these alternating headaches in the same patient?
Many thanks
Andy
