Precautions with myristica

Post by MMGM »

Myristica is a violently acting & superfast acting,
to be given only after ensuring there is no abscess internally
in lungs/liver etc.
Young usually are free from internal abscess.
Don't exploit this opportunity to grill & demand references.
I havn't seen this in any books/mm.
It is only word mouth teaching by lecturers/professors.
Don't believe, leave it, keep away from myristica.

What is given below is an anecdote, really happened forty years ago.
May not work every time, & no use saying "You said this, you said that" politics.
it = myristica
A boy 6yrs, came with a nasty abscess on rt. cheek, size of peach.
By palpation, I ensured there is no abscess internally.
Gave myristica 200
It induces system to initiate following actions.
Give local anesthesia.
Induce deep slumber.
Patient slept thru' didn't feel any sort of pain or discomfort.
There was a kind of divine surgery.
System put an incision on abscess.
Drained away all puss & fluids perfectly.
Patient was in deep slumber felt nothing.
His brother sleeping nearby got frieghtened seeing so much puss/fluids on the pillow of his brother.
System closed the incision & next morning all perfect.
No scar of surgery.
It is also nick named as "Surgeons knife"
Boerick MM says it "Often does away with use of knife"

Always exercise extreme caution using it.
Results vary with individuals.
Don't grill me further on this, I have better things to do.

This boy is now owner of a software company, no one can make out
he had major abscess on cheek. No scars, no marks.

Thank you for that. I had no idea about checking that there is no abscess internally. Thank you for the clinical observation as well.
