Dear John
You mentioned that if the remedy freezes, its properties may be affected.
We have remedies in liquid form - mother tinctures to various potencies.
We have them in solid form as a coating on the sugar pillules.
We also have them as vapour - for use in olfaction.
Yes the properties remain constant.
I have not tested the effect of freezing on medicating potencies - but perhaps this could be done at the next proving.
Heat we all know will affect all potencies.

Re: freezing medicines - Phase Changes
hi all,
Well, for all purposes I got my practical answer thanks to Soroush, but to further on my thought a bit more philosophically...
When I think of the mechanism in succussion, i liken it to what happens when you succuss a dish full of globules (or other ball-objects, I just happen to have loads of globules on hand for this little exercise)
that is, fill a flat dish (eg piepan) with a few layers of globules (or other such stuff). You will notice that they are lying "random", that is disorganized. After tapping, shaking the pan gently for a few times, the globules "line up" in neat layers and rows, they are now "organized".
That is how I imagine the way potentization works on a molecular level.
So in this way, if it is all about keeping your molecules "organized" or allowing them to "disorganize" - mightn't freezing - which slows down the molecules- disturb them???? If the molecules are remaining in their organized state due to ....? what?... atomic electrical or magnetic charge, would cold break that charge just like heat does?
Sincerely,

What do you all feel/know about proximity to mobiles and wireless routers? Theresa

Hi Theresa,
Here is an answer we sent to someone asking about the effect of airport xrays on remedies. It answers your question in part.
.........
Answer: No need to worry - your remedies should be fine.
Manufacturers and homeopaths are often overly cautious about what damages the subtle energy of homeopathic remedies. This is because research into what does and doesn't affect remedies has been limited. As a result, they have frequently recommended that they shouldn't be scanned or x-rayed at airports.
Fortunately, recent research shows that airport x-rays and red barcode scanners don't have any effect on remedies.
Other things such as the emissions from mobile phones and microwave ovens do, however.

Kind regards,

Thank you for this, Fran. i presume a wireless router comes under the same heading as a mobile phone. This will be bad news for many!
