Hi Janice,
I would like to know the procedure to muscle testing with remedies. Could you
explain it?
Thanks
Marta

Re: Digest Number 575
I am not an expert in this but if I had a few remedies I thought were suited
to the patient but wanted to check for the 'best', I get them to cup their
non dominant hand round naval area and I place a remedy bottle in it.
They raise their dominant arm out to the side, palm down
I then say 'hold' and firmly with 2 fingers push down on their wrist. (they
are told to hold their arm as firmly as they can)
The 'best' remedy will produce a firm response - an 'incorrect' remedy will
have the arm going weak on testing.
There are other ways to test and I am sure others on the list will give their
advice

Re: Digest Number 575
Dear Marta,
What you describe is a basic muscle test. I was taught to simply have the person hold the remedy
in one hand and test the other. Why do you have them hold the rx over their navel?
Ths week I decided to try something out of curiosity. I did not have a particular remedy on hand and
wanted to test it on a pt. I decided to write the name of the rx on a piece of paper and did a muscle test with
it. The response was favorable. So I then wrote a potency on the paper and repeated the test with a
negative result. I followed this by a paper with the rx name and a different potency written and again
got a positive response. I had been taught this during a workshop dealing with non-homeopathic
process and used it to help decide a question i was puzzling over at that time. It seems to me that
this comes under the concept of dowsing and can be used on people as well as geography; eg looking
for water.
i dont know if i would make this the primary decision-maker in chosing a remedy, but it is an
interesting and simple technique.

Re: Digest Number 575
in early nineties there was a method of selecting homoeopathic remedy by
making the patient sit infront of the medicine chest and asking him/her to
concentrate on the medicinal chest and then the doc would take a stick in
hand and move it on the medicinal chest by closing both eyes and
surprisingly touching the medicine bottle with the stick and the bottle
pointed was considered to be the best remedy for the patient. well what u
know...this system of medicine prescribe worked well too....
have fun.....
