re putrid body odor rubrics/remedies

I was hoping someone could give me some enlightenment on a case I have at the moment

I have repertorised this and have a few remedies in mind but the level of putridity here does not seem to be reflected to same level in the material medica writings so was hoping someone else could throw some thoughts into the pot for me to ponder before I prescribe.

Main complaint:

Putrid odors from body – so bad that others at work told him about it tho he was not aware of it himself

Only happened in last year

Male 29yo

Dark hair - very thin – says cannot put weight on at all

< Fruit + while in Thailand where was eating mainly rice veges meat and no bread

Drinks quite a bit of alcohol though not every day more on weekends

Have jock itch for long time – pimply and red base if hot < heat itchy

Haemorrhoids – protrude at times not sore can itch a little
Desires company – loves to socialize but fears to socialize now due to odor

Lot of stress re this complaint – lost his job thru it has caused self esteem to plummet and feels depressed (in a dark deep negative lonely place)

Sometimes has trouble understanding people – hearing is OK it is in the comprehension – slow like words get mixed up

Tonsils swell if drinks too much white spirits

Bad teeth – lot of caries in 2nd teeth as child – teeth went black between the teeth – has had extensive dental work done.

He is a welder so has had lots of exposure to metals and metal/flux fumes while working also said as a teen he used to shoot rats with an air gun and used hold lead pellets in his mouth a lot

Bladder can be freq at times (ie go up to 5 x during day while working) urine can have string smell if eats cheese and if coffee says urine smells like dog faeces?

Sleeps well but wakes unrefreshed, yawns a lot thru day

Recently had a bout of hiccups that lasted 4 days

Some resentment towards father – who tries to control, also forced him into an investment that then went bad and never apologized. Rebels against F a bit (still lives at home due to no job etc from this complaint.

Chilly thermal
Desires pizza and ‘deep fried everything’

< for sugar nuts cheese milk bread choc VINEGAR (used to be OK with all of them)

Had p/h of severe acne (like boils) used Rocutane has scar between eyebrows from a big boil like pimple that Dr had to lance. But otherwise very little scarring on face.

Tonsilitis as a child

Not much sweat unless eats chilli
Of interest a while back he got kicked in shin at sport and bruise went bad (sounded almost Sul ac like) turned horrible colour and Dr put him on antibiotics for 2 weeks

During this time he was the best that he had been – no gas, digestion better odor down
Rubs liquid magnesium onto skin regularly

Took Chlorella for a while and increased doses of it more and more (hmmm the great more is better mentality) then got bad nausea and now if has only a little gets nauseous again

I have a few ideas but 3 questions

what does he think causes this, from around when it started, events in his life

what was the odour like to yourself

why does he put liquid magnesium onto his body - for sure get him to stop that and the chlorella which is not without its side effects for some.

could be from many things.
what is his diet like, for example?
how old is he? is this a cumulation of years of toxic build up?
does he need a supervised detoxification--with remedies? organ specifics?
what is rotting/dying in his body/life?

thought I would post a few ideas just in case i don't have time later

possible liver dysfunction with the alcohol and too much fried food, haemorrhoids, flatulence and general putrid emission also suggest this (was also wondering if his not so good comprehension is linked to too much alcohol as well)

lots of directions as to causation and you could chase these for a long time but to me the injury he received and that the bruise went bad also = a putrid state and I started to think about Arnica which is big time a putrid rx, everything can get offensive and putrid with Arnica, it is a septic state that becomes putrid

h/o acne/boils
h/o bad bruise
causation can be shock of his financial loss - loss of job and loss of investment
offensive flatus, offensive urine, offensive stools, breath etc
<< alcohol
haemorrhoids
has a longing for vinegar and vinegar seemed to feature highly in what you have written although I realise he doesn't crave it
itching pimple eruptions
lots of bowel inconsistency (but this could be the alcohol)
brooding - has a very dark and black vision of the world around them often seen in the dreams = horrors, mutilation and delusions often refer to blackness
fear of others approaching him - they develop an emotional fear as well as a physical one - he has been hurt also by losing his job with this complaint and possibly from comments made about him
absent minded and dullness - this is a knock on effect from the causative shock

if this has presented in the past year not sure what to make of the h/o bad teeth but with all that lead shot he put into his mouth that makes you connect them then but hard to say if they are connected to the present state. But lots of smelly rx that could be linked to that if still part of the case - plumbum, kreosote, mercs, nit-ac (loves fat), thuja, etc.

Q1 He cannot identify anything much to this period says he was quite good emotionally and was working so things were pretty Ok until work friend told him about the odor. Perhaps drinking a fair bit of alcohol and occasionally social drug use (marijuana and ecstasy) were the only factors I could find.

Q2 Hard one to answer it is privet season here and my nose is a bit blocked and sense of smell down from my allergy symptoms – I could detect some odor but certainly not the to the level he described – but he said it is not as bad if he stays off all the foods that he is < for (which he’s been doing for quite a while now) – comes back very quickly if he eats them again.

Q3 Yes I told him to stop the magnesium for now and he gave up on the Chlorella a while back due to it making him sick.
