Just got back from visiting. The mother is more tense than appears at first.
She reported that the baby was nursing okay until the 4th day when her milk was
insufficient and the baby stopped. Now they have her putting a tube in the baby's
mouth while nursing for force stronger sucking. The other is resistent to trying
homeopathy now because they have her doing herbs and tubes and who knows
what else and she is anxious about doing too many different things. I have to
agree with her about that.
I think there was fear and a holding back in the whole process.

Did you give Arnica for the head trauma during delivery? That would probably be the place to start, then see if sxs change.

I would have liked to have done that but the parents were reluctant to let me do anything.
It turned out the midwife would have supported this, but who knew.....
I still think about arnica, but the baby's head swelling is going down and she seems okay.
I am trying to keep an eye on her. Within a few weeks the mother will go back to work and I
will have the baby at least 1 day a week. Will see what develops.
frustrating these situations.
