Here's what I find, with Safe Solutions as a brand, and Not Nice to Bugs sounds similar--is that it?

that is one of the products they make. i have not used that one. i use the basic one that is called Safe Solutions.
when i talked with the man who developed the products, he actually discouraged me from getting the auxiliary
products telling me they were really not much different than the original. don't know what that is about, but you
can call him and ask him yourself for any differentiation betw the 2.
if you are interested in the product you can get it directly from them or through me.

Hi Shannon,
a combination of :
1. Alcohol evaporates, so no wetting of the mattress etc. also felt the evaporation might help it spread futher in the fibres.
2. I had a medicating potency in stock already
3. let the alcohol burn the blighters
4. Let them get drunk and fall of by themselves, and wander into the night.
A 20% alc should work just as well. if it is going to work.
as for the proving, I can't say. Just the same as if you do a proving you need to keep meticulous note of what transpires, for me life went on. I had no supervisor to report to other than myself and could not be focused or objective enough in evaluation. Some of the bites did develop sever staph infection which needed treatment, but they were going septic already and may probably have gone that way anyway. But as I said, no proving protocol was followed.
Certainly not aware of any of the available symptoms in Vermeulen etc. (Definitely no "frequent erections in the morning hours").
Good luck.
regards,
Paul

Hi Tanya,
I dropped/sprinkled it onto mattress corners, cracks, crevices. anywhere they like to hide and live. and a few shots on the mattress at intervals. Just a touchy/feely "get the hell out of here" approach.
maybe a spray bottle with some potency in water might work well. A kind of mist (in addition to the other "nukem aproach" application. You don't want the mattress too damp and then have a mold problem.
Obviously the vacuum cleaner got bleach etc (and I think maybe a dose of cimex as well). that was our one, back from repairs. the offending vacuum was handed back already.
regards,
Paul

As someone who does a lot of mold abatement, let me tell you never to use bleach. It is very toxic
and even the EPA tells people not to use it. It remains in the air for a long time and you will be breathing it.
Spray bottles work really well. On larger projects I use a fogger, but for small areas sprayers work well.
You can get small, inexpensive fogger/misters for under $20.00 which is what I did for my daughter's apartment.
The thing with bedbugs is that you kill the buggers but the eggs remain and you need to watch for new hatchings.
But the homeopathic approach might be the way to go to get to the eggs as well. Let us know if you have to
do any repeat treatments.

Thanks Paul!

Sound reasoning... I especially like the image of the little guys drunk and falling off the bed. :o)) Okay, I will see what I can get!
