In a "regular" or an "avarage" chronic treatment -- how many times should one stirr the spoon in the rx cup?
TIA

Sorry
I think I misunderstood what you were asking

a stir is all that is needed.
Some people do a gentle stir, some vigorous, I don't think it matters.
Only the succussion of the bottle needs to be somewhere between 1-10 depending on the need and sensitivity of the patient.

I know some people use "number of stirs" as a variable in giving LM potency/medicinal solution, to make the potency slightly stronger. I don't personally do this, as long as it is stirred somewhat I don't factor in "number of stirs".

Given our understandings of the physical processes of our remedies, this is what I understand:
1. Succussions that create a bubbling of the water is what is required to change the potency.
2. Stirring only ensures that the few drops or tsp that we dissolve is mixed thoroughly in the dose cup.
Thus, it doesn't matter how we stir just so long as we get the remedy dose mixed well.
suggested concept: potency change vs mixing

Or read the Organon and go with what Hahnemann instructed - §247, §248, §280 etc.

Right

The Organon specifies the number of succussions to be up to 12
but does not specify how much to stir other than

Aph 272

A similar globule, crushed with some sugar of milk and dissolved in a good deal of water (§ 247) and stirred well before every administration will produce a far more powerful medicine for the use of several days

Rafy, re gingivitis (I deleted your email by mistake--please delete this if not topical) I used to have it and it cleared up (over 30 years ago) when I stopped having on-going diarrhea (my gut healed, long story) and ate better and took supplements (b vitamins, c, and cal-mag-zinc) and codliver oil. Took a while but have never had it again (I am now 67.) I have receded gums, but they stopped receding back then and never started again. I think the most impt thing was a good deal of C. That was all long before I knew about homeopathy, and I would recommend it to anyone--even with homeopathy. Teresa (Northern VA)
