It is one of the important remedies affecting
genitourinary tract esp in acute gonorrheal infection.

There is dysuria with burning and smarting. 'Stoppage
of urethra by mucus and pus'. Burning pain extends
from urethra to bladder.

In men, there is swelling of prepuce 'approaching to
phimosis'. 'Impotence from sexual abuse'. In women,
sexual desire is increased. Constipation is an
important accompanying symptom.

One of the most important peculiar feature of this
remedy is sensation as of hot or cold dropping water
pouring over him or like on head, or from anus and
heart.

Mentally, the patient is confused and is in a strange
and unreal atmosphere. There is sensation as if in a
dream. 'Voices seem strange'.
