Tanya,
Folks like your elderly friend who may have difficulty getting a doc to perform certain tests should check out the Life Extension Foundation, which offers a host of blood tests, including some very advanced and sophisticated ones, without need of a doctor's prescription.
Peace,
Dale

That is a good suggestion. I will consider it when talking with him--if he ever gets it together to meet with
me seriously about his health. This last epidsode was an eye opener for him, so I am hoping he takes
his health, me, homeopathy all the more seriously now.
I have read some of Life Extension's material, but never has any direct experience with them.

Your post recals some of my contentious history. When younger and working collectively
with a group of people there was a position that said the majority ruled. I, of course, often
went against the grain. challenging realities. Many heated discussions resulted in the position
that if the majority said something was true, or reality, then that is what it was, even if we changed
it later.

Yes!! I think their publications are just *excellent* -- far more in-depth and technical than most (also longer). And the member benefits can be excellent (depending on one's use)--consult services, testing service, and discounts on their products.
