I slipped when doing a step class last night, got up carried on, got home, did some gardening and it was only about 3 hours later after I had been sitting still at my laptop when I started to feel my ankle start swelling. I took 3 or 4 Arnica 200 and iced it over the next couple of hours and went to bed not being able to put any weight on it at all and it was very swollen. I even wondered if it was broken. After an hour in bed the pain stopped.
This morning I am hobbling on it and have found an ankle sports bandage which I put on when I got out of bed.
Any other suggestions for healing it faster as I am going on holiday in 2 days!!!
All the best

For myself, on the couple of occasions when I had a *really* bad sprain, I did find that 1M acted much more decisively than 200c had. Worth a try?

Re: My badly sprained ankle
I took a Ruta 200 this morning (thanks Jean) and still can't believe that I can walk and am not on crutches. It feel a bit sore now as I have done too much walking on it this morning but have now got it up with an ice pack where it will stay until I have to go out in 3 hours. At least I will be able to drive. Will probably repeat the Ruta later today as there is very little discomfit now.
