Does that mean that there's nothing of value in radionics? Not necessarily. It just can't be uncritically incorporated into homeopathy when there are so many uncertainties with it.

Just think of one serious problem - remedies prepared by radionics don't have the life of a traditionally prepared remedy (which is almost indefinite). Being able to trust your remedy or prescription is vital when relying on remedies that people have had sitting in their homes for some time. If they (or we) are unaware that they were prepared radionically, everyone's in a mess.

It keeps being said on this list that we have to be very clear on what homeopathy is and isn't if we want to have an easily defensible position.

We are coming under closer scrutiny and IF sloppy practices and secrecy exist, it won't be good.

There should be nothing to hide - all things should be able to be discussed according to their relevant category. Start mixing up those categories and we will be in all sorts of trouble.

Fringe practices should be identified as fringe until validated by research otherwise they will be used by those antagonistic to homeopathy to white ant us all, even those of us who won't use them. We should be able to soundly defend everything we call homeopathy.

IF there are colleges encouraging their students to prepare easy to obtain remedies radionically, and IF the public is being given them and IF it is all being regarded and taught as acceptable homeopathy, then we do have a real problem that should be identified and corrected for the the sake of all.

If such a problem exists, we should be the ones putting our house in order rather than turning a blind eye. We are the ones who have the option of speaking up about that which defines us and that which doesn't. If we don't, external influences will do it for us and possibly in a most unpleasant manner.

One question ... In Australia we have the two separate disciplines - naturopathy and homeopathy. In the past I have been told that UK homeopathy is very similar to Australian naturopathy in that a little bit of everything takes place rather than just homeopathy. Was that a fair assessment? I would love to hear.
