I am checking up about the Hernia tonight. I think I am going with the Calc and will ask mum to cut out dairy for a week. If fact will probably see if she will do the latter before the Remedy!! He has had vaccination with no problems. I will also check how long after a vaccination did the eczema start.

Also ask what age it started!

I would also add that before you give up on graphites to consider whether dose and potency were an issue.

Dear Joy,
This is an interesting and valid point Joy. My instructions to her were that if the Graphites 30 - one dose worked like it did the first time and then it got worse again - then she should repeat. What actually happened was that the dose I gave him did not make the (not terrible!) eczema better - then it got slightly worse- so she repeated after a week.
Re potency - I wouldn't want to go up on it when I am not convinced that this is the correct remedy and as you know I don't do LM's. I felt the 30 was OK to give him.
OK saw her tonight in the gym and she reckoned the last two days it has not been too back when he returned from nursery. I got her to understand that since it is only 2 days since she gave him the repeat dose it would be best to let it ride at the moment and I suggested that just for a week - no dairy. She will buy soya milk and yoghurts - he doesn't eat cheese anyway.
Re the hernia - it was an umbilical hernia before the age of 1 and there was no treatment. All the rest of the questions she will answer from the questions I sent via email . We did discuss him not speaking to me and she agrees that he was being stubborn and obstinate (Calc again) not shyness. I will send her answers when I get them.

If she drops the dairy and you see improvement you won't know whether the remedy helped or the removal of dairy helped. If she adds soy products at the same time, you've got a 3rd variable....
Would just like to add that I think Pulsatilla can be a bit obstinate too - more like the Silica obstinance than the Calc obstinance maybe - having said that am now pondering where the differentiation in obstinance is between them.

Yes I understand what you mean Gail which is why I don't want her to give another Rx at the moment. Personally I don't think Graphites is working but I want to establish if the non dairy works. It is rare that a non GMO soy milk and yoghurts would cause a problem in a 2 year old. We are only talking about cereal at breakfast re the milk anyway. Puls and Silica I don't think are correct for this child at all.
