high cholesterol

Post by Priscilla Tan »

Hi,
Can high cholesterol be treated? My husband is diagnosed to have high cholesterol and currently on herbal supplements. His family side has this problem so it may be genetic. His diet is relatively healthy and doesn't smoke or drink.
thanks

Cholesterol has nothing to do with heart disease. This campaign to lower cholesterol is a ploy by the pharmaceutical industry to destroy the health of he population while exploiting them for vast sums of money.

If you require proof ask your pharmacist to show you the box that Lipitor comes in. Printed on the side of the box is a statement that the drug has no effect on heart disease.

The true cause of most not all) heart conditions is Scurvey. The human body does not have the ability to synthesize vitamin C and thus it must be taken in supplementation. Fruits such as oranges do not provide enough so a supplement is mandatory. along with vitamin C we also require two amino acids which are lysine and proline. The combination of these three substances are necessary to make collagen which builds strong tissue and in the case of heart disorders, the construction of strong healthy blood vessels.

Lipoprotein 'a' is the sticky patching material that prevents arterial hemorrhaging. Much like car radiator stop leak, this material builds up in the arteries of the heart to protect you from bleeding to death from a rupture.

A healthy range for cholesterol is from 200 to 300 and the closer to 300 the better. Statins have been shown to increase cancer risk and they deplete COQ10 which weakens heart muscle. In simple terms the statin drugs are far more likely to kill you than if you take nothing.

A lot of what you say is true - according to the latest theories. However, I dispute your statement that supplementation is 'mandatory'. Nothing in the way of supplementation is mandatory - the body was not designed to need supplementation with vitamins or minerals. it works perfectly well just as it has been designed - if we let it!
An interesting observation: during the Second World War, when people's food was severely rationed and fruit, above all, was limited, the rate of heart disease was at its lowest. Since then, as modern diets have moved progressively away from all that is natural towards processed foods, heart disease has risen inexorably.
Conclusion - avoid processed foods and eat a diet with as much fresh fruit and vegetables as possible, and preferably organic. You won't need to supplement.

Other factors affected the diets of people during WW-2. First there was a critical shortage of sugar which is an extremely toxic poison. Researchers have discovered that the granulocytes stop functioning when exposed to even small amounts of sugar. The simply quiver for 5 to 6 hours after ingestion. Thats bad news for someone ill in a hospital that eats the Jello which is laced with it.

Also animal protein was in short supply and people thus ate more healthy than usual and, of course, they also consumed less food overall which is now known to be beneficial in maintaining good health. Necessity forced them to eat properly and that is why there was less disease during the war. Carmi Hazen

and wasn't wheat in short supply too? I seem to remember reading that
celiacs was recognised because wheat became unavailable during either
the first or second world war.
