A practitioner with the mindset that Chlorella and Cilantro (or any
approach for that matter) are curealls, won't be open to seeing that
their clients are getting sicker because of their prescription. (Been
there, done that, as a client)
How do you know that? How can you even dare to presume that about another practitioner? Don't you think - just for one teeny, teeny little bit - that you should be more circumspect with regard to other professionals with plenty of years of experience, partuclarly as you know nothing about them? In fact, your attitude is hilarious, and very much in keeping with the way of this list - no-one can recommend anything if it does not agree 100% with the ideas of certain people on this list.
I have never met so many people with such inflated opinions of themselves!
Oh - let me also remind you that chlorella is a very popular supplement in its own right. I'm still not sure what you have against it.

I agree that cilantro and chlorella are very helpful for a lot of people and I'm glad you had good experiences using them and prescribing them for others. As the statement which you include and which is in brackets says - I didn't. I'm also not the only one who hasn't. I'm not just presuming, I'm talking from experience.
I'm not talking about any particular practitioner - and I'm a bit surprised by your reaction (ouch), I've always valued your openness and what you share. I'm sorry if the way I stated my expectations about researching things we prescribe was offensive - I can sometimes come across a bit bluntly.
That there are people whose symptoms worsen from taking cilantro and chlorella is a fact, not an opinion. I didn't say don't suggest them, just adding in something that took me a long time to work out. At times I wish it wasn't my experience and that I didn't know it - because one of my jobs includes selling chlorella. A bit of doubt is a problem when you are selling something, it's much easier to sell something that will cure everything and is 100% safe.
The thing about chlorella is that is high in sulphur/thiol groups - which means it can move mercury and heavy metals around - as you have experienced that is a good thing, but it can be a problem if, like me, the detoxification pathways aren't ready to detox/eliminate it. I was recommended to take it by one of my tutors at college - and it certainly sorted me out. I have never heard of a problem with it - as I said, I know some people who take it as a supplement - it's supposed to be a 'super food'.
Anyway, as you say some people don't benefit from it - well, we're all different! And when you talked about the detox pathways - perhaps taking Merc. Sol. 6C at the same time helped me?
