I would think anyone who practices medicine holisticaly would encourage bonding with famly and baby and promote a nuturing environment and understand children are people and have individual needs, some cry and need more physical contact than others. The child is not the enemy and I think their inate drive is more towards survival and having needs met instead of manipulation.
