questionaire for homoeopath
I got Sheri's questionaire for homeopath.
I wonder if the homeopath would be offended if I send a questionaire like that to her before deciding if I would see her/him?.
Would you be offended if you received such questionaire from a potential client?
Thoughts?

Re: questionaire for homoeopath
i haven't seen sheri's questionnaire so i don't have a specific response to that as a document.
however, i think that if a homeopath is not acting with the hubris of most allopaths, she/he would
respond postively. we do tell our clients that they need to be involved in their own healing. this
might be their first step in doing just that.

I imagine that it is a good questionnaire and I wouldn't be offended,
even if it wasn't as it is good that a client asks you about your
practice.

Well, I would not be offended if I agreed with the principles laid out, which is what you are looking for. At the least, explanations should be freely offered and discussed on any smaller points. The homeopath who does not wish his clients to be well-educated and part of the process is not one you wish to use.

Re: questionaire for homoeopath
Here is that particular questionnaire. I imagine it comes with a set of 'correct answers'.
Liz
1.Where did you study homeopathy?
2.How long did you study? Also what other postgraduate education have you had?
3. Who did you mentor with?
4. Do you mix homeopathy with herbs, drugs, other things??? Or do you ONLY use homeopathic remedies.
5.Do you use just one remedy at a time?
6. What type of potencies do you use? Dry or water potencies?
7. Have you read the Organon? If so, how often do you read it? What edition of the Organon do you base your work on?
8. what is your view on allopathic vaccination.
9. How available are you in an emergency, nights, weekends?

Re: questionaire for homoeopath
thanks liz.
what i wonder about is what the answers would mean to the average consumer with little
knowledge of homeopathy?
i would also think that these questions could be the basis of a flyer that a homeopath would
prepare for the public. then 'answers' could be put into a context of valuation.

Re: questionaire for homoeopath
EVen if someone gives all the "correct answers" to these questions, they could still be doing lousy homeopathy
A set of correct responses could be
1.Where did you study homeopathy?
In the International School of hairdressers ( in olden times this used to be School of Barbers - before that School of Barbarism)
I studied it till I got a headache, some folks who are really good at it studied it till they became cross-eyed.
Most of the folks in my batch passed our post graduate education in Mortuary Management and Cadaver Conservation with flying colors.
I mentored with Classical Homeopath XYZ till she got arrested for selling Meditation in potencies...
I ONLY use homeopathic remedies - for others. For my own use I go to a good allopathic doctor in a town far off from my town of practice. Or attend Rajan's training in Bombay and go to a good Ayurveda doctor.
Naturally - only one remedy in any given second...On second thought, I will change the remedy in the next few seconds - but always the single remedy...
Depends on how much medicine I have in hand, If I have a lot, I use dry. If there is not much I dilute it with water as needed and market this as a better way of taking it. My grandma used the same trick every time she was short on milk. She will dilute it more and called in potentized and powerful milk and called this LM ( Lightweight Milk) and claimed that this released innate healing powers of milk.
I have read the Organon many times since no one can understand it in a life time. I had to keep on reading it since it is very rare for me to go beyond the first 3 paras before Organon of Sleep arrives.
What edition of the Organon do you base your work on?
I am told that there is a secret underground version of Organon that Hahnemann wrote and gave to Melanie to release it only in 2012.
I am waiting for this latest version of Organon to base my practice on it. I am told that Hahnemann recommends pouring the medicine into the patients mouth and shaking the patient 500 times for instantaneous action.
I welcome allopathic vaccination because it gives rise to many diseases for homeopaths to cure. There are many homeopathic experts whose livelihood depends on vaccination.
I am always available for emergencies esp, when I am the cause of it. I handle only classical emergencies like "sleeping in front of TV, loud snoring, tight socks leaving impressions on the leg, itching in the back where patient cannot reach it"...For the rest I have negotiated rates with local cab drivers to safely drive you to the nearest emergency room and good allopathic care.
