Hi Jean and Irina,

I also noted that Nux Vom was the Rx and this child did well with Nux when
he was a month old and had constipation with straining. However he doesn't
seem at all Nux to me now. He is always clinging to Mum and wanting Mum to
play with him when she is around but he is not like this with anyone else.
When I see him he is a gorgeous placid Calc like child but I don't think
this is right either. He is obstinate when he doesn't get his own way and
strikes out at Mum and his brother. When he is told off for it he starts
crying and continues to strike out, Mum says as if he is embarrassed. He
won't play with toys and has a short attention span. He will not share his
things. He walked early, teeth early but is 2 and doesn't speak much , just
odd words. He is fearless in that he will climb and run off if given the
chance. He is a hot child and loves getting mucky and dirty. When he is
ill and gets lethargic a dose of China has always worked well. The last acute
he had was a diarrhoea bug which Podo 12 sorted in 2 doses and since then
his stools have smelt foul. Basically I have given him a dose of Sulphur 30
to see what it brings out.

Rochelle

Mmm. Tub? How interesting as there is TB in the family and this child's
brother does sooo well on it. I did think of this one.

Anyhow today Mum phoned to say the child has developed a hacking cough,
doesn't want to be touched, is vomiting up phlegm, doesn't want to eat, sits
up to cough and I prescribed Ipec. as there appears to be a nausea bug going
around at the moment and the cough described by this Rx seems right. Mum was
told not to give the Sulphur until the present acute of a sore throat and
fever was over and this is what it seems to have developed into. Mum will be
n the phone tomorrow with a report I am certain!! Any other suggestions
gratefully received as I hate doing acutes , especially coughs!!

Regards, Rochelle

Hello Rochelle, - hacking cough, has to sit up, doesn't want to be touched,
vomiting phlegm with the cough, doesn't want to eat = sounds like BRYONIA to
me.

We have recently had a dreadful cough acute around my area which mainly
turned out to be Causticum - but every case individually as always. Hope
this helps, Joy
