Subject: [Minutus] vocabulary question – Herpes vs tetter
Having been doing some rep work for a case where one issue is herpes. I know the word `tetter' is used to indicate any of various vesicular skin diseases (as ringworm, eczema, and herpes). Of course, it leads to a very different list of remedies. I would have thought the use of the word herpes would have given better results – but using tetter instead was far better in this case. Is it that the word tetter was used more in the older MMs? Or was tetter used more frequently for certain body parts (like the ears)? Or perhaps this is an issue of translation of older references into English?

Any other word substitutions useful for herpes?

Thank you in advance for your input.

Donna
