Promethium chloride - latest proving

Post by Joy Lucas »

Just to let you know that my latest proving has been completed and the remedy proved was Promethium Chloride - one of the Lanthanoids. (Pure promethium is not available). It was, as always, chosen randomly.

It has been a strange proving. In some respects one of calamity and in other ways almost a complete non starter, sx just would not emerge. (With parallel discussions about sensitivity I would loved to have had someone who is known to be really sensitive to remedies to prove it). At first I thought this was a remedy manufacturing problem but now I believe it to be the nature of the remedy and I am leaning towards this being a remedy not for now but for the future - we don't need it now, it is too far off the radar for our needs.

But more of that when I come to compile the data of the proving. This often takes me considerable time but I will let people know when it is available.

Excellent Joy - could you post the details when you have finished it on the Lanthanide group I started on the Homeopathy World Community site.
Thanks

Yes, will do this, thanks for the suggestion. I do try to spread the proving compilations around as much as possible - as I said though it could take a while.

Thanks Joy. We all appreciate how generous you are with your knowledge and proving info.
If you want to do any more Lanthanide provings that would be great!!! I would prefer to see proper provings than the meditative ones although all the clinical practice stuff coming out is proving useful.

They have all been added to a list that is getting bigger and as I pick the proving rx at random (or rather a colleague does) there is a chance they will come up sooner rather than later now.

but considering how easy it is to do hahnemannian provings, and all it takes is one person, minimum, then i don't know why they aren't already proved. Come on folks, have a go.

My main focus is for older remedies that haven't had a thorough proving and I am less keen on new rx provings but I would like to see the periodic table completed. I might even try one myself, I have a feel for Europium as it is in the same group as Rhodium, one of my other provings :-)

I've taken Europium and it brought my Blood sugar down immediately for a few days but didn't last. It did it again the next time I took a dose Will have to look through my notes to see if it did anything else!!
