LM REMEDIES -- when is it time to move to the next potency?

Hi,
In a chronic case when you give Silica 1/LM and the patient improves a little every day, after each taking of the rx, and he took it 12 times untill now -- when is it time to move to the next potency?

I thought the classical way to take LMs was 7 doses..one each day. Then move
to LM2....etc. But of course, depending on circumstances you might want to
dilute more...if aggravation....1 , 2, 3, 4 or more cups .or give some more
time between doses...all depending.....

Jeez..maybe i'm remembering wrong...I was mentored in classical prescribing
for a little while through the internet. That is where i think i got that
information..i'll have to go back and look.
