Ringworm in Cats

We have a 6 week old litter of Kittens, and several have varying degree of
Ringworm.
It presents as loss of hair in patches about the face, though can be anywhere
on the body.....
We're presently feeding them citricidal(from grapefruit seed extract),
Spilanthes/Usnea compound (herbal tincture for fungal infections), nuritional
yeast,
Colostrum powder, and Sulpher 12c in their water.
Some seem a little better, and some not, or worse.....
Has anyone had success with such a condition..?
With what treatment, and the duration of time needed to treat them...????

i have had some good successes treating my cats over the years. sulphur helped all 3 of my females at one point but not on a permanent basis. my black cat had suffered alopecia which seemed to respond to the sulphur and that never returned. the flea bite allergies i always felt were related to the hysterectomies they all received with the concomittant hormonal effects. my male cats never had an allergy to fleas, only the females. my last kitty was treated last year with nat mur, as a constitutional for several problems including her 'grief' response to my black cat's passing. so far she has had no flea reaction and it has been about 11 months. i am considering that pretty successful. i once was taking a remedy for myself that was very potent for me and i found my black cat healed from a condition which was bothering her at the time--she was very tuned into me.

if your kittens respond differentially, try to identify unique symptoms for each of them, as well as a group diagnosis. also, you dont speak of the source of the problem. can you identify it and remove it. and best yet, is if you have a homeopathic vet or willing homeopath to take the case in person.

children with excellent results

Ringworm can be very successfully treated homeopathically in cats just as in
people. I would want to more of the history of the kittens, vaccines,
traumas, etc. I would also look into their diet. I always advise a raw
meat/bones/veggies diet and that goes a long way to increasing vitality.

I have also used Tellurium, but only with cats. I have
gotten good results with it.

Dear Samual,
I have had complete success in the treatment of ringworms with Sepia +/_ Bacilinum.
Try 30c, one dose. If you use both remedies give 12 hours apart and repeat if necessary.

As always, the best recommendation is to have the case taken in full
as Dr Swift suggested to arrive at the best Rx match. A good Rx
selection should see a result after one dose treatment . This may
need to be repeated depending on the potency used, if symptoms recede
but begin to return, and whether there is a maintaining cause, etc.

I will say however, that like others, I have found Tellurium useful
(espec if about the ears/head or in congregates), but also Sepia in
female animals and for isolated spots of Ringworm, Baccilinum is
often a helpful starting place, and don't forget Thuja especially if
the ringworm has appeared within a few dys/wks/mths after vaccination
(6 wks old..have they just had their 1st shots?). These are by no
means the only Rxs to consider. Some history about the mother may
also be of relevance seeing as several of the litter have a
susceptibility to acquiring the Ringworm.
