Title: Homeopathic Degree BHMS is equal to MBBS degree in Pakistan
Detail: The NEWS will be welcomed by all that Islamia University Bahwalpur (IUB) Pakistan has issued notification that Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical Science (BHMS) is equal to M.Sc status and on the basis of BHMS degree, homeopathic doctors are allowed to compete for Government Posts of grade 17 (which is a Gazetted Post in Pakistan). In this regard Higher Education Commission has also issued the notification. After the notification, homeopathic graduates can get admission in higher studies like M.Phil and Ph.D. (Read HEC notification)

Federal Public Service Commission also endorsed that MBBS has equal status as M.Sc. This step will open up new doors for homeopathic doctors to compete for administrative seats in Ministry of Health and Government Hospitals, where earlier only MBBS doctors were given chance for appointments.
