There are case histories where Sulphur in low doses for a period of time had helped... In this case Sulphur seems to be indicated as well ( < alcohol, skin complaints, the ragged philosopher... ) -

there are cases of even other medicines having been given for months with good results... there are cases where this has aggravated as well- so it is neither here nor there... Boericke says in Sulphur " in torpid eruptions the lowest potencies"

Sarabhai Kapadia repeated 30c for months together in many cases and has published cases based on the approach...

Dr.Koppikar published a case of filariasis where the patient took Sulphur low for 5 years or something by some mistaken understanding of instructions and was totally cured of the disease and remained cured for the next 20 years or something
There seems to be not much aggravation in this case till now for all the noise- let us see how it goes... I would have liked to see how this person fared after a couple of doses of Sulphur 200 :-)

Hi Soroush
In my 'anal' way (there, I said it first!) I have often wondered about this 'few hours training ' bit and where it comes from. There is a foundation course of 30 hours teaching and 120 study leading to a multiple choice exam and then the course proper begins if you want to be an MFHom (as opposed to an LFHom).
I have seen the syllabus (on the Faculty website) and read David Owens book, which is obviously designed to be the standard course book and I think it all sounds excellent. Some UK colleges would seriously benefit from taking on the syllabus.
However, I can't see anywhere how long it is all supposed to take - does anyone actually know how long this part of the training takes and how it compares to our own? The CPD requirements are similar to any required by other organisations and, remember it is all on top of medical sciences whch have to be studied and CPD'd anyway.
If you do make it to the website, have a read of the 'testimonials' from various doctors, too.
Theresa
That is unfortunately what you get when you take medics, train them for a
few hours and let them loose on poor patients!

It reminds me of Kent and a pit full of vipers being more acceptable than
rooky 'homs'.
Also of the Sepia woman we saw in college (Sepia 30 daily for a year!)

Dr Fisher despite being Hom to the Queen needs to get his act right!

That's interesting abut the low term use of Sulphur. I for one wouldn't start a skin case with Sulphur 200 !!!

Hi Liz,
Thanks for your message.
You are right. I didn't see anything more than a remark "Homeopathy Kills" and I don't have any time to waste on anything written in this regard. Well, in case of doubts one can always come forward with sincere desire to learn but Sorry, whosoever it may be, I just do not go further a single word.
Homeopaths have plenty on their hands in the limited time. I am sure he went to best homeopath. Good enough. I am sure that no homeopath went searching for him. He searched the best and comes back so declare "Homeopathy Kills" and we kill our time here what we should use for something better.
Sorry guys, I don't like any debate, nor I have read neither I am ever going to read any topic on such comments. I have my conviction and I did not collect it from any one's remarks but it is as it was about 35 years back. Sure I too had plenty against this conviction in the beginning, but things were different when it came to practice. Well under the circumstance Sulphur could have been the right medicines.
You are always welcome in case of doubts. Well one has to be very very honest and descriptive while giving case report. Every minor information can help for the best results.
Thanks
Regards
Paul
