Is homosexuality a disease ? What's the stand of Homeopathy ?

Post by Ellen Madono »

Dear Venkat,

I don't use the homosexual rubrics if it is not a problem for the
client. Unless it is a problem, I don't think such rubrics are
relevant. It doesn't matter what society thinks.

Off the top of my head I think of these changes encouraging people to come out:

Political pressure for change.

For women, increased ability to support oneself. For couples,
inclusion in insurance policies.

Increased individualism and the attitude that one's private life is
separate from ones public life.

Increase freedom among children so they can explore their sexual
preferences. I have watched lots of changing from bi to homeosexual
and back to straight among my children's generation. Don't know how
that plays out in the statistics.

I can't imagine homeopaths of the past being so liberal. So the
rubrics may have had different meanings. That's a good question.
Does it matter if they saw things differently? They saw women
differently than we do. Does that matter? Going between cultures,
how much cultural translation is required?

Blessings,
ellen
