Dear Lynn

Thanks for your mail, I attempted to Register on Minutus to answer this
but came up against a server error.

We have many samples of Influenzinum in stock at Ainsworths.

The main one is a very old flu sample dating back over thirty years.
The majority of samples are made from the annual flu jab so are dated and
typed with the annual assortment of prevalent flu viruses.

Generally flu jabs are composed of three viral strains and these vary from one
year to the next. In principle any single strain is homoeopathic by nature of its
similarity to a potential symptom picture.

In some cases we have made a true nosode, ie a patients mucus as opposed to a
purified viral culture.

In essence we have discovered Homoeoprophylaxis is more effective with
purified cultures and the individual nosode works well in higher potency
for a symptom picture that started with a flu, ie chronic Eustachian congestion

he seems to feel that potentizing the vaccine is the same as potentizing the pure virus. i feel differently about it. i wonder if anybody has ever tested the efficacy of these preparations, or proved the annual influenzinum remedies.

I did try many years ago: the potentised vaccines did not offer much of a protection whereas the real influenzinum did, as much as I could evaluate with around a total of 30 to 40 patients if my memory is correct, and talking about a disease that does not involve everybody.
But there seemed to be very much less sick patients with the influenzinum than with the potentised vaccine.
A highly subjective and not statistically valid personal observation!!!!

My search shows that in Europe ony 2 pharmacies have the Influ from 1918:
Nelsons
and
www.schmidt-nagel.ch
the last has a nosode that was brought by the founder Pierre Schmidt . (it is very difficult or impossible to buy anything from them if you live outside Europe.

I wonder if several of us wanting this remedy, could get together, and make a bulk order - and have someone on the "other side" make the purchase, then pay that one person to ship it over here to One Person, who'd be willing to volunteer to send it to the various ones who ordered it...?
