Swine flu preventive medicine

Post by Neeraj »

I am from India and my doctor has suggested following homeopathic medicine for swine flu prevention.
1) influenizium - to take 4 pills once in a day for 7 days. The power is
1M (for more than 15 yrs)
30 power - for less than 5 yrs age
200 power - for 5 to 15 years.

2) belladonna 30 - to take 4 pills once in a day for 7 days.

I searched on the net and many doctors are suggesting just one dose per week for influenizium 200 power.
1. Am I taking very high power medicine of influenium.
2. Is belladonna safe
3. What is the meaning of dosage.
4. Are these medicine sufficient for swine flu prevention.

Thanks,
Neer

One dose (one/two pill of #20 size) of Influenzinum 1M should be enough to prevent the disease. You need to take only if you feel that you have flu symptoms. If you take it in healthy state, depending upon your sensitivity you need to undergo all the flu symptoms.
Best way to take homeopathic medicine only when you have some symptoms..

Prophylaxis is done *before* the person becomes ill! Once you're ill, you need a more individualized remedy; but for protective effect, a broader correspondence is found to work--read in the Organon about Hahnemann's use of Belladonna in preventing Scarlet Fever! I think that was his first foray into prophylaxis, but a great deal has been done since then.

But I too would think that single dose infrequently should be sufficient--maybe only once per season with a 1M, and then only if there is direct risk. Personally I haven't taken anything for prevention, tho might if it were in our neighborhood (as opposed to just in our state). I would use single dose. But I am no expert on prophylaxis!

Hi,
Thanks for ur reply.
The doc told me that these are preventive medicines and I have already started taking it. Initially for 2 days I took 4 piils a day. I started showing some symptom and in all feeling uneasy, so I reduced it to 2 piils a day. Bcoz almost 5 days are over.
I think I should stop them now?

Rgds,
Neeraj
