I've been having some strange symptoms...they've sort of been creeping up on
me in last six months. I don't have air conditioning and i think that is why
i sweat at night...new for me...but the sweat kind of burns under my arms. The
skin on my arms where i lay them while at computer sort of burns as well..a
scalded feeling. Then every once in a while i get a tiny tickle in one or the
other of my feet...just a very tiny spot and since i'm barefoot most of the
time i rub my foot against some carpet. Its very annoying and i have to
scratch it right away I also have a burning sensation in my chest..but that
feels more internal..more of a feeling of heat. The other night i got dizzy
when i turned my head slightly. I was afraid i might faint...but i made it to
bed and fell right to sleep. Then i woke up a couple of hours later and while
lying there i felt that dizziness again. I lay there thinking maybe i was
having a heart attack and what should i do...(wake others up...etc). I took
two aspirin. It didn't happen again but then i thought about diabetus symptoms
just a while ago. The only thing different that i've been doing in last six
months is drinking diet coke which my roommate always has available. I was
pre-diabetic last fall(113) and changed my diet and eat alot more protein...at
least at two meals a day. Anyway...i thought diabetic symptoms came late in
the game ..not right away. Can someone give me some ideas of what is going
on?
medical advice?

Carol - look at eliminating the diet Coke. It contains Aspartame - which is deadly! It causes all sorts of neurological symptoms if you are susceptible.
Look up Dr. Janet Starr Hull's website - she has a lot of info about aspartame/nutrisweet. http://www.janethull.com/
