too quite a repetition. I have many cases that only need the LM once a week
or every two weeks. I am a little bit conservative in repetition when I see
a striking improvement.

What was the size of the medicinal solution? How much solution was taken
from the medicinal solution? Did you use a dilution glass also? If so, how
much medicine was given to the patient? How many succussion were given to

Dear David,

In case of the mentioned Nat-m patient, the striking
amelioration lasted for 5 days and he was fine for the
next 3 weeks. I wanted to "complete" my cure and what
I said before happened. For the first dose, I used one
LM1 globule and put it in a bottle containing 120 cc
of water. After 1-2 succusions he took 5 cc. For the
next three doses, he took 6, 7, and 8 cc of the same
bottle after succussing for 2 times each time.

Usually, I wait at least for 1 month to evaluate the
action of LM potencies, just as I do for the
centesimals. However, I have seen that centesimals
need much more "wait and watch". In some cases I have
seen the C30 potencies continue their effect for many
months (even in an Ars. case for more than one year).
So, I think if we are not facing problems and if we
are sure about our prescribed remedies, we'd better
not hurry. I prefer to spend my time on the first
interview and find the true simillimum and not waste
the time changing the remedies constantly.

I have witnessed several single dose LM cures. I also gave Ferr-m 0/1 that
held for 5 years. I find that one "usually" doses not need to wait as long
as one month with the LM potency. The LMs show there action faster than the

depends on the individual case.
Yes, I think you are right. The first condition that Hahnemann makes in
aphorism 247 for speeding the cure is that the remedy is a true
simillimum!!! We must first test out the remedy to see if it is correct
before trying to do anything else. This is way I teach that a single test
dose, or more rarely depending on circumstances, a series of three test
doses, and a period of assessment is important. Start starting off giving
repeating a remedy for days, weeks, and months is not smart. It is better
to go slow at the beginning so one completes the cure fast in the end.

When one sees strong medicinal action they should be careful. This is
especially true when there is a strikingly progressive improvement. I have
been speaking out against the mechanical rapid repetition of the LM potency
for years because so many people have been aggravated by such methods. The
Paris casebooks show that Hahnemann never repeated the LM potency daily and
on alternate days for weeks, months and years on end without interspersing
placebos and waiting and watching. He gave lots of placebos!!!
