Good grief!!!! Any possibility that the anger and vitriol could cease from this forum. I can't see how it can possibly be of any use whatsoever in the broad scheme of things. All seems very personal. I've never seen anything like this before. It's quite extraordinary. The allopaths would have a field day with this acrimony and division. Please get a life and move on all you angry people. There are sick people out there and more important things, surely, to be talking about. Thank goodness other forums don't have the level of personal nastiness that goes on here. I saw all this 'bickering' when I first logged on but was advised it was probably a temporary thing. Doesn't seem remotely temporary to me. Very hard trawling through the diatribes to find the content that I assume this forum was originally set up to address.

I've been on this list a long time. And I've seen plenty of disagreements,
sometimes heated, but always civil and always short-lived. This vitriole
you are seeing is a new thing that has happened since certain newcomers have
joined. I hope too that it is a temporary thing, but I can't see it
resolving soon unless the moderator steps in.

I am all for speaking freely, but I think this is one instance in which some
group moderating is desperately needed. This is especially important when
there is a lack of respectful disagreement and an inability to let the topic
go. Without it, the endless bitterness will destroy this list. In many
lists I'm on, the moderator decides when a debate becomes emotionally ugly
and asks that the topic be discontinued. I think we really need that right
now.

Moderator, where are you? Help please! I want the old minutus back!

And I just delete any posts from various people with various titles now as I certainly haven't got time to wade through all this stuff. Am off to Louis Klein in Greece tonight so will be offline for a week. Hopefully when I am back it will all be finished.

Sometimes I get stuck like we all do or require some ideas to study!!
I also believe and have been told that some contributors learn from what I post.
I also post MM and rubric help when I can.
