Why did the training decline?
One *good* thing about the current situation (as I understand it, at
least, in the US) is that the CHC (Council for Homeopathic
Certification) has set up some pretty good standards for curriculum.
(And yes it includes study of the Organon. Anyone who wants the
specific information can email them to ask!)

But--anyone know more about what went into the prior decline? I'm sure
*some* of it was about laziness (steep learning curve, anyone?) and
sucking up to allopathic mindset, but was there more?

There was the famous Flexner report that closed the schools, but I
recall Julian saying they were pretty much dead already--but I don't
remember why. I want to re-read Coulter's book. Anyone here read it
recently enough to give some synopsis?

I think a better question is 'was the training everywhere as good as it could be' and the answer will always be "no". Good training will always fluctuate as wonderful teachers stop teaching (for whatever reason) or more schools are set up that have inadequate or worse training protocols. Maybe too many forums that offer itsy bitsy twitsy practices. Hopefully it is a cyclical phenomena and that it will get better - even here we try!!!!
