Ledum and Phos [was: Possible Lyme's?]

Post by Shannon Nelson »

Gail, how *interesting*!!
I've often thought how useful it would be to have a broader
understanding of each of the "acute" remedies (and I do make use of
subtle M/E shifts to help decide among them). I will certainly study
up on this one!

Why is Phos cheerful when sick? My off-the-cuff thought would be that
Phos is *usually* cheerful in company (except when in a drained state),
and that famous "lack of boundaries" I think makes it more difficult
to keep track *even* of one's own injury or discomfort. So they (I'm
guessing) flow right into the attention and concern from others, feed
on it, and are less bothered by the illness etc. than would a more
self-referencing person?? I'm a very "phos-leaning" person (not my
simillimum, but did just an awesome amount of good for me early on),
and that was my experience, or something like it. Being "un-grounded"
does have its benefits. :-)
