SHIN SPLINTS - PAIN IN THE SHIN BONE

Post by HomeoDidact »

Hi List member,
I am asked to treat a person with SHIN SPLINTS - which (in this person) is pain in the shin bone (esp. left leleg), located in the upper and middle of the leg.
It started 2 months ago, after travelling in the world with much walking.
It is worse for walking and better rest and better for rubbing when it is pain ful.
Can you describe the treatment for this, main remedies and auxillary treatment?
In this "chronic" stage - will ICE help? (colling with ice 10 min. twice a day)
Do you have experience with Ruta and Symphyt. (which potency?)
Will Eup-perf help (it has pain in the shin)? And Vermiculite?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
regards
Rafy

not homeopathic, but yrs ago a chiropractor told me to put
finger pressure onto the area of pain. she said the problem is that
the tissues have pulled loose from the bone (somewhat) and that
putting some pressure with the fingers tends to reattach the tissue.
i am assuming she was referring to the myofascial tissue.
at the very least, this type of tx will not interfere with a homepathic
remedy

My shin splints stopped when I got a pair of orthotics made to go in my sports shoes!! I believe Ruta is the best remedy - low and frequent.
